SBO+ and TI:ME, Technology in Music Education, are encouraging innovative music educators to share their strategies and techniques for how they have modernized music instruction in today's classrooms by applying to present professional development sessions in Ohio, New York, and Texas.

If you submit an accepted professional development proposal and can join us in 2025 in Rochester, Cleveland, or San Antonio, TX, you will present to enthusiastic like-minded innovative music educators, while helping those attending get professional development credit, and skills to bring their programs firmly into the 21st century.

Be certain to describe your technology proposal as a TI:ME Session in your application description so it makes it to the TI:ME conference team inboxes for review!

We particularly encourage you to submit to NYSSMA and OMEA.
These are great winter conferences, with active, engaged  attendees who want to make their programs better through music technology integration. TMEA, the world's largest show, is more competitive for presenters, but also TI:ME's biggest partner event of the year. All three are loads of fun, and a great experience for both presenters and attendees. Submit to one or all three.

TI:ME and SBO+ will be partnering again with other state MEAs, and we will announce proposals for those soon.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Our advertising partners make it possible to produce and send the magazine to you with zero subscription fees.

Producing the magazines, from staffing, to design, production, annual paper and postage increases, is very expensive. Subscribers to the print/digital editions help us underwrite their free subscriptions by receiving emails from our advertisers that we send on their behalf. However, while the cost may be “free,” the “price" is you allow our advertisers to send you news and offers via our in-house email system, newsletters, et cetera.

We don’t sell your information to third parties and never will. We completely understand if you wish to no longer receive the magazine because you don’t want to be contacted with email offers. No hard feelings. No worries. We will honor your wishes to remove your data from our systems and cancel your magazine subscription and remove you from our databases on request. We do not spam. We do not send magazines and emails to people we know don’t want them. That is expensive!
