All National Music Hosts Robert W. Smith Music Festival

UPDATE 3/3/2020 – The festival has been moved to April 8-11, 2021. The dates below have been adjusted to reflect this change.

All National Music will hold the Robert W. Smith Music Festival in Orlando, Florida on April 8 to 11, 2021, featuring high school and middle school bands and orchestras from around the U.S. and renowned composer/conductor Robert W. Smith.

This four-day event in partnership with Universal Orlando Resort is an exclusive, adjudicated concert festival with integrated featured composer Robert W. Smith. Each band will experience onstage clinics plus have the chance at master classes and guest conducting appearance with their group at the event.

This special event includes a two-day, park to park admission to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure along with the performance festival. During the festival, groups will be adjudicated, and the top performing ensemble will be awarded a comissioned work by Robert W. Smith. Mr. Smith will compose a selection that will be published for the school ensemble and director the following year.

“I’d like to invite you personally to be a part of the very first composer entrenched music festival. I’m going to be interacting with the director, working with the students, and should you choose to guest conduct one of your works at the performance. It promises to be something incredibly special, incredibly unique, and truly a life changing experience for your students. I know it will be life changing for me,” says Robert W. Smith.
