The ARP Foundation announced Executive Director Dina Pearlman-Ifil will attend Superbooth 2026 in Berlin. Pearlman-Ifil, daughter of ARP Instruments founder Alan R. Pearlman, will appear at the event May 7-9. She will participate in a series of special appearances throughout the event, offering attendees an opportunity to connect with a voice in synthesizer history.
Pearlman-Ifil will sign copies of “PATCH & TWEAK with Korg” at the Bjooks booth, E105, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. daily. The book celebrates the innovation and cultural impact of Korg synthesizers. She will also sign the current issue of Das Synthesizer Magazin at the lobby booth from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Pearlman-Ifil is featured on the cover of the issue. She will discuss ARP design legacy at the Antonus booth, Z171, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The team at Antonus is known for its recreations of classic ARP instruments.
Pearlman-Ifil recently appeared on the Metamyther Podcast, where she shared insights into the history of ARP Instruments, its most famous users and the company’s lasting influence on modern electronic music. In the conversation, she reflected on her father’s approach to engineering and the creative community that formed around ARP instruments. She noted the ways in which those innovations continue to shape today’s synthesizer landscape.
As the daughter of Alan R. Pearlman, whose work helped shape modern electronic music, Pearlman-Ifil has dedicated herself to preserving ARP’s history.
