The Bluecoats finished atop the DCI Middle Tennessee competition in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, scoring 94.300 – an improvement of 1.25 points from their previous outing, according to Drum Corps International.
The show, presented by DeMoulin Bros. & Co., returned to Middle Tennessee State University after being staged in Nashville in 2025. The Canton, Ohio corps remains unbeaten in ten consecutive performances, a streak that began with a California show in early July.
At this event the Bluecoats led the overall Music caption, edging competitors by three‑tenths in Music Analysis. Carolina Crown earned first in Brass and placed second in Color Guard, while Boston Crusaders took the top Percussion spot. Crown rounded out the night in fourth place overall.
The Blue Devils and Boston Crusaders shared second place with identical scores of 92.300. The Blue Devils held a 0.55‑point edge in General Effect; Boston Crusaders were ahead by 0.10 point in Visual and 0.40 point in Music.
All seven corps will head to Atlanta for the DCI Southeastern Championship, which will be streamed live on FloMarching on July 25.
