The Bluecoats concluded a perfect summer campaign by claiming their third Drum Corps International (DCI) World Championship, according to DCI officials. Reporting from the organization indicates the team achieved a score of 99.100 at the finals competition.
The Blue Stars attained their highest placement since 1977, while the Spirit of Atlanta secured their strongest result in nearly four decades. The Bluecoats demonstrated dominance throughout the season, securing victories in every performance category except for brass.
The Troopers maintained their presence in the finals for a fifth consecutive year. The Bluecoats have consistently placed among the top three groups for the majority of the past eleven seasons.
The Bluecoats also received the George Zingali Award, which recognizes excellence in color guard performance. The team’s achievement marks a significant milestone in the history of DCI competition.
