Buffet Crampon USA Unveils Digital Tools, New Instruments

Buffet Crampon USA announced the launch of new digital resources and instrument products for dealers and educators. The company introduced the Band Instrument Buyers Guide, a website designed to aid consumers in selecting beginning band instruments. The site highlights student models from Buffet Crampon Group woodwind and brass brands, including Buffet Crampon, Powell Flutes Boston, Besson, B&Sand Antoine Courtois Paris.

Paula Corley, Education Advisor, North America, spearheaded the content. The Band Instrument Buyers Guide is for first-time buyers, especially parents, Corley said. We have provided simple but extremely important information that is sometimes overlooked in the instrument buying process.

The company also introduced a B2B online dealer platform. Authorized dealers can view stock, place orders and manage account details. Francois Kloc, President and CEO of Buffet Crampon USA, said the resource helps streamline business efficiency. Dealers receive a 1% discount on orders placed through the platform. The platform went live in May 2022.

New products include the B&S Personality Series trumpets, developed with artists Martin Hutter, Benny Brown and Thomas Inderka. The trumpets are keyed in Bb with light skeletonized Monel pistons. The Prodige Pocket Clarinet is now available, featuring a body made of Mozambique grenadilla wood. It is keyed in D. The ClariMate digital clarinet mute allows silent practice via headphones or app connectivity. It works on any B-flat clarinet and connects via Bluetooth.

The Besson Sovereign BE969 Euphonium was developed with Besson Performing artist David Childs, Professor of Euphonium at University of North Texas. The euphonium features an 11.5-inch bell, a.590-inch bore and an interchangeable mouthpiece receiver. It includes a 3+1 compensating system.

Buffet Crampon USA announced its 2024 Fall Rebate promotion. Customers can get a $75 or $150 rebate on select instruments from September 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024. The promotion applies to purchases at authorized dealers in the U.S. and Canada. Approved rebates are sent as digital gift cards.

Artist Julian Bliss will visit the U.S. headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida, providing masterclasses to students at UNF, FSCJ, JU, The Bolles School and Douglas Anderson School of the Arts.

The company also launched a Tuba Showroom website for customers looking to visit the showroom in Jacksonville. Appointments can be booked online or via email at tubashowroom@buffetcrampon.com.
