“I’ve had the distinct pleasure of watching Peter’s career grow as a musician, teacher, composer and a genuinely wonderful person for many years,” says Larry Clark, President of Excelcia Music Publishing. “I’m proud to have been his college band director, and now his exclusive publisher. His music is uniquely his, full of personality and harmonic freshness. I know music educators will find his music to be as delightful and refreshing as we do. I am excited to welcome him to our roster of exclusive composers.”
“I’m incredibly honored to take this next step with Excelcia Music Publishing and to make Excelcia my exclusive publishing home,” says composer Peter Sciaino. “I’ve greatly enjoyed working with the Excelcia team over the years, and I’ve come to really value the relationships, support, and shared commitment to creating music that connects with performers and audiences. This feels like a natural and exciting next chapter, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue growing alongside such a wonderful community of composers and educators. I’m so very excited for the music still to come!”
The publisher continues to actively seek out, publish, and promote works from a wide range of composers on a non-exclusive basis, as it has since its founding in 2018. The list of exclusive composers currently includes Peter Sciaino, William Owens, Carol Brittin Chambers, Sean O’Loughlin, Larry Clark, Laura Estes, Jamey Ray, David Samuel, Tyler Arcari, Christina Huss, Matthew R. Putnam, and Peter Blair.
