The Cork Youth Orchestra will return to Cork City Hall for its annual Christmas concerts on December 12 and 13, echo live reported. The ensemble will perform a live orchestral accompaniment to Raymond Briggs’ The Snowman for audiences of all ages.
The events, supported by EY Cork, mark the third consecutive year the youth orchestra has presented the family concerts at the venue. Echo live reported that the performances will bring the animated classic to life through live music.
Ronan Murray, managing partner at EY Cork, said organizations like the Cork Youth Orchestra play an important role in the cultural life of Cork, according to echo live. Murray said the initiative helps young people build confidence through music while bringing families, friends and the wider community together to enjoy the festive season.
Murray added that EY is proud to support the concerts and looks forward to seeing Cork City Hall filled with music, joy and festive spirit, echo live reported.
