A community organization in Cornwall, Ontario, is combining musical entertainment, a spaghetti dinner and advocacy to build support for a new French-language Catholic secondary school in the region.
The Seeker reported that Patriotes Toujours will host the Fête des Patriotes at the Agora Centre on Saturday, November 21, 2026. The group describes the effort as a way to ensure equal opportunities for French-speaking students and protect the future of French-language education locally.
According to the report, the evening begins with a reception at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 5:30 p.m. Musical and cultural entertainment, a silent auction, a 50/50 draw and other activities are planned for attendees.
Admission operates on a voluntary contribution basis, allowing community members to pay what they can so that cost does not prevent participation. Reservations are required by Friday, November 13, 2026.
The event frames access to secondary education in students’ first language as a community priority, using music and cultural programming to draw families and supporters together around the cause.
