Disruption extends run through October at Signature Center

The production of Disruption has announced a second and final extension of its engagement, with performances now scheduled to continue through October 4, 2026. According to BroadwayWorld, the show was previously extended through September 27 before securing this additional week at The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center.

BroadwayWorld reports that the new play by Andrew Stein, directed by Hersh Ellis, began previews on July 22, 2026, and officially opened on August 2. The story follows Nick, a tech entrepreneur who presents an algorithm designed to guide life decisions more effectively than humans can themselves, raising questions about technology’s role in personal autonomy.

The cast features John David Washington as Nick, alongside Emma Kikue, Irene Sofia Lucio, Jason Ralph, Conrad Ricamora, Elizabeth Stanley, Joe Tippett, and Shaunette Renée Wilson, BroadwayWorld states. Additional company members include Octavia Chavez-Richmond, Carman Lacivita, Lauren Marcus, and Brian Miskell. The production is described by the source as a sharp thriller exploring a tech-obsessed world.
