The Gustav Mahler Private University of Music in Klagenfurt, Austria, will host the d@rts International Conference & Artistic Reunion from October 15-17, 2026. This event is part of the Horizon Europe project dialoguing@rts and focuses on best practices across Europe to promote cultural literacy and enhance social inclusion through arts education. The conference will bring together music teachers, researchers, artists, cultural experts, policy-makers, musicians, and representatives from major international organizations such as UNESCO, AEC, Academies de Musique et Musikhochschulen (AEMC), and the European Music Council (EMC).
Interdisciplinary discourse between music education, ethnomusicology, sound studies, dance studies, educational sciences, sociology, anthropology, and heritage studies will be complemented by artistic interventions, workshops, and soundwalks. Best practices from Serbia, Italy, Germany, and Norway will be presented and discussed.
