Educational Tours Inc. has named Shelly Cole, CSTP, its president and owner, effective following the July 31 retirement of outgoing President and Owner Donna Adam, CSTP.
Cole joined the student-group tour operator in 1997 and most recently served as executive director. The company said she has developed relationships with industry partners to support student travel programs, including transportation, lodging, dining, performance and attraction arrangements.
“I’m honored to be taking the reins at ETI and am looking forward to continuing our priorities of providing exceptional customer service and the unforgettable student travel experiences we’ve become widely recognized for,” Cole said in the announcement. She said the student travel planning process matters at every stage.
Adam joined ETI in 2005 as accounting department supervisor, became general manager and was named owner and president in 2017. Cole said Adam’s vision and passion had made a lasting mark on the company and its clients.
Educational Tours Inc., founded in 1983, organizes student group travel in the United States and internationally. The company is a member of the Student & Youth Travel Association and a Certified Student Travel Organization.
