Ella Suena Drum Camp 2026 brings drummers from Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia together.
Pachuca, Hidalgo — On September 5 and 6, the Centro Cultural del Ferrocarril in Pachuca will host the third edition of the Ella Suena Drum Camp, a drumming gathering that promotes women’s participation in the music industry through workshops, clinics and concerts with free admission.
The 2026 edition brings together more than 50 confirmed artists, headlined by Randy Ebright, drummer of the Mexican band Molotov, along with drummers from the States of Mexico, Puebla, Michoacán, Veracruz, Jalisco, Querétaro, Sinaloa, Aguascalientes, Coahuila, and Nuevo León.
Among the confirmed artists are Jocabed Abrajan, Charlette Veytia, Leslie Pantoja and Ivette Gómez. They are joined by two international artists: Cintia Concia, founder and director of Ella Suena from Argentina, and JV Drummer, from Colombia.
“Ella Suena’s Drum Camp is part of the activities that the civil association Volver a Soñar carries out throughout the year to give visibility to women musicians, and to work toward peacefully closing the incredible gender gap that exists in the music industry”
— Cintia Concia, founder and director of Ella Suena.
“Randy, Molotov’s drummer, is a great addition to Ella Suena’s vision. Unlike other movements, this project has understood from its founding that the industry has both men and women, and that it’s artificial to hold events with only some of them. What usually happens is that women’s events are only attended by women. What we’re trying to do here is have both men and women come to the event, so that many men can see the incredible talent that women have”
— Oliver Iturbe, director of Volver a Soñar A.C.
