Enter SBO’s Essay Scholarship Contest

It’s not too late to enter SBO’s 2014 Essay Scholarship Contest! For a chance at $10,000 in music scholarships and matching prizes for music classrooms, have your students complete the following sentence in 250 words (or less): “Now More Than Ever, Music Education Is Important Because…”

The contest is broken down into two categories: grades 4-8 and grades 9-12. Five winners will be chosen from each group. Submissions will be eligible up to the contest’s deadline of December 31. Winning essays will be announced in the July 2014 issue of SBO.
