The Municipal Government of Firmat has officially launched the Municipal Conservatory of Music, an initiative designed to strengthen academic and artistic training in the city. Region360.com.ar reported that the unveiling occurred at the Int. Cardinali Cultural Hall, featuring academic auditions by instrument students and an open rehearsal attended by teachers, families and members of the Municipal Band.
Mayor Leonel Maximino stated that the conservatory reinforces policies supporting the city’s status as a UNESCO City of Learning by emphasizing the role of arts in community identity. He noted the facility is intended to serve children, youth and adults. Conservatory Director Gabriel Alustiza explained that the project originated from efforts to elevate the academic quality of the municipal ensemble following his appointment. Deputy Secretary of Culture and Education Soledad Zazzarini highlighted the work required to establish this new educational space. The event was also attended by Council President Griselda Valdecasa, Councilor JoaquÃn Altamirano and Government Secretary Betiana Pellegrini.
