Fox10tv.com reported that the Daphne Band Boosters are organizing a fundraiser called “Taste of the Eastern Shore” to raise money for the Daphne High School Marching Band’s upcoming season.
The event, aimed at adults 21 and older, will showcase local restaurants and food vendors offering samples of their dishes, and will feature live entertainment by the local group Howlin Grace.
According to the report, the fundraiser is one of the largest the boosters plan to hold and is intended to cover costs such as travel to games and competitions, uniforms, equipment maintenance and other expenses.
Band booster president Phu Vuong and booster Ben Dale discussed the details of the event with Lenise Ligon, noting that the money raised will directly support the band’s activities.
The “Taste of the Eastern Shore” will take place in Mobile, Alabama, and is organized by the Daphne Band Boosters as a key fundraising effort for the marching band’s season.
