The Hai Phong Department of Education and Training partnered with Yamaha Music Vietnam Co., Ltd. on Aug. 6 to host a workshop enhancing instructional skills for secondary and high school music teachers. According to the report, the 2018 program defines music education as contributing to student creativity, aesthetic sense, and harmonious development alongside artistic knowledge and skills. The department director emphasized that incorporating these instruments must link directly to practical activities, allowing students to listen, feel, and gradually master musical tools through active participation.
During the session, educators received guidance on structuring lessons to align with national standards while learning instructional techniques for using recorders and keyboards. Teachers engaged in hands-on exercises, group collaborations, and concerts. The event concluded with participants reporting their results from the training course.
