About the Role

Olga Gudynn International School (OGIS) is seeking a vibrant and highly charismatic Music Teacher to join our school with a "whole-school" reach. We are looking for an educator who can spark a love for music in our Primary students and maintain that passion through to Cambridge IGCSE level.

This is a role for a teacher who loves to be "on stage" and at the heart of the school community, making music visible, inclusive, and exciting for every student.

Key Responsibilities

• Cambridge Excellence: Deliver the Cambridge Music curriculum (from Primary to IGCSE) with academic rigour and creative flair.

• Whole-School Engagement: Teach Music across Primary and Secondary stages, adapting your pedagogy to inspire different age groups.

• Choir & Ensembles: Lead and grow the School Choir and instrumental ensembles, ensuring high-quality performances for school events.

• Event Animation: Organize and lead school concerts, festivals, and musical productions, ensuring students are proud to perform.

• School Visibility: Be a proactive and magnetic presence, actively recruiting students into music programmes and clubs.

Person Specification

• Curriculum Mastery: Expert knowledge and experience with the Cambridge International (CIE) framework (Primary/IGCSE) is essential.

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in international schools.

• Musical Artistry: Excellent instrumental skills (Piano or Guitar) and proven expertise in choral conducting.

• Communication: Native or near-native English fluency. You must be an engaging communicator for students, staff, and parents alike.

• Impact: A teacher who is naturally "visible" and capable of attracting students to the arts through energy and leadership.
