Ekeby School is an F-6 school with about 250 students from preschool class to grade 6. Approximately 45 employees work here, who enjoy their workplace and each other. In the middle stage we have two classes in each year. The school is located in a villa area in Djursholm with scenic surroundings. We believe that a safe climate where everyone enjoys is the best foundation for learning. Through a warm, creative and inspiring work environment, we offer students a professional and stimulating environment for them to develop in. We believe that clear leadership promotes safety and education.

We are now looking for a music teacher for a 50% vicariat in the academic year 2026/2027 for grades 1–6. Do you have teacher identification with permission to teach music? ARBETSUPPGIFTER

Your main role is to be a teacher in music for grade 16 in a well-functioning school environment where collaborative and collegiate learning is the focus.

You are responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the teaching according to our governing documents. You have a part in planning and executing Christmas and summer closings and similar musical gatherings. You are responsible for the music topic in ride 1-6, half class in race 6. The role does not include mentoring and you are part of the middle school team.

You collaborate with class teachers/teachers and have a dialogue with students and guardians about knowledge development and learning. You actively contribute to creating a positive work environment for both large and small. With your commitment and drive, you contribute to the fact that together we can become the absolute best school for our students.

Currently, the role is scheduled 3 days per week.

Qualifications

We are looking for you as:

• Is a licensed teacher with permission in music for 1-6.

Have experience in written reviews and set grades.

• Is familiar with the school’s missions and governance documents.

• Knowledge of inclusive and accessible learning environments.

• Have a very good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing in Swedish.

We are looking for you who have an educational ability and work structured. You are communicative and collaborative. It is important for you to create good and trusting relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. You are flexible and easy to adapt to the current situation. You are a stable person who has a low-effective response, is constructive and acts professionally in pressed situations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
