Santa Rosa Academy is a K-12 public charter school, established in 2005 and chartered out of the Menifee Union School District. We serve students in Riverside county with site-based, home study, and a combination of home study/on-site programs accreditated by the Schools Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Description of Position
Under the direction of the School Principal(s) or assigned designee, teach, and instruct students in the field of music to include choral music, instrumental music, percussion, techniques of music, music history and terminology. Position motivates student to develop an interest in and appreciation of the arts of music. The incumbent in this position will plan, develop, organize, and assist in the operation of comprehensive music
program for students; perform other related functions as required.

THIS IS FOR ONE MUSIC TEACHER - FULL ELEMENTARY MUSIC TEACHER (K-5) AND 1 PERIOD OF MIDDLE SCHOOL CHOIR
THIS IS NOT A CTE POSITION
$12,750 in Health and Welfare Benefits
Longevity Stipend at 5 Years of service
Music Stipend for Performances
Minimum Qualifications:
• Valid California Multiple Subject Credential Music
• EL Authorization

• Copy of unofficial transcripts (official transcripts will be requested only if selected for position)

Credit will not be given for substitute or student teaching. Verification of employment will be required on a school verification form within thirty (30) calendar days from first day of paid service. (Steps 1 – 15)
