Natick, Massachusetts, Walnut Hill School for the Arts has an immediate opening for a part-time substitute Theater Dance Instructor in the Theater department.

Responsibilities:  Provide substitute coverage for Theater Dance classes to students in various levels during the semester. Additional duties as assigned.

Skills and qualifications:

Experienced dancer & educator; experience working with adolescents

Demonstrated commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive community

Strong communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of individuals

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Physical Demands:  Physical demands include dexterity for mechanical and supply operation including but not limited to, writing, typing, using electronic devices, computer, phone, office machinery, copy machine, fax machine, and printers. Walking, ascending/descending stairs, stooping, bending, reaching, carrying, lifting, pushing/pulling, dancing, moving, stretching, and sitting or standing for extended periods of time are common. Ability to demonstrate applicable dance and theater technique is required.
