Job Title: Special Education Math and Theater Teacher

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Math and Theater Teacher to join our team at Eustace Middle School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both math and theater, with a focus on providing specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.

2. Teach math and theater subjects to students at various learning levels, using a variety of instructional strategies to engage students and enhance learning.

3. Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to maximize student learning and success.

4. Assess students' progress regularly and adjust instruction as needed.

5. Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that respects the diversity of students' learning needs.

6. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education, math, and theater instruction.

Skills:

1. Excellent knowledge of math and theater subjects.

2. Strong ability to adapt teaching methods to meet students' varying needs and interests.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to collaborate effectively with other teachers, parents, and school administrators.

5. Strong organizational and classroom management skills.

Certifications:

Candidates must hold a valid teaching certification, with a specialization in Special Education. Additional certifications in Math and/or Theater Education are highly desirable.
