George Salter Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Dance and Drama on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner, whether experienced or at the beginning of their teaching career, to make a significant contribution to the life of our school.

The successful candidate will:

• Be an excellent classroom practitioner with the ability to teach Dance and Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Have high expectations of achievement, behaviour and attendance.

• Inspire students through engaging and innovative lessons.

• Be committed to helping students realise their full potential.

• Contribute positively to extra-curricular activities, productions and performances.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an ambitious and inclusive curriculum.
