As Ambassador International Academy Al Khail continues to grow, we are looking for an outstanding and passionate Teacher of Music to join our thriving learning community from August 2027.

About the Role

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons that encourage students to explore, create, perform, and appreciate music from a variety of cultures and genres.

You will play a key role in developing students' musical abilities while contributing to a vibrant performing arts programme that celebrates creativity and student achievement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Music instruction that promotes creativity, inquiry, and artistic expression.

• Inspire students through vocal, instrumental, composition, and performance-based learning experiences.

• Foster confidence and a lifelong appreciation of music in students of varying abilities.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge and support all learners.

• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform teaching.

• Integrate technology and innovative practices into music education.

• Lead and support school performances, concerts, assemblies, productions, and community events.

• Contribute actively to the wider life of the school through extracurricular music clubs, ensembles, and enrichment activities.

• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music or a related field together with a recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent).

• Have at least two years of teaching experience.

• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for music education.

• Have experience teaching an international curriculum; IB experience is desirable but not essential.

• Be confident teaching students across a range of age groups and abilities.

• Possess strong performance and/or instrumental skills.

• Demonstrate creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to student-centered learning.

• Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.

• Be eager to contribute to a dynamic and growing performing arts programme.
