About STMA Schools

We are a district that serves over 6,300 students and employs 850 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

The Co-Curricular Choir director will rehearse with a select group of students 2 mornings a week prior to the school day.  The group will also perform and various concerts and events throughout the school year.

Start date: 10/19/2026

Schedule: 7:30-8:15 AM, 2 mornings per week during the school year, and some performances.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience directing choir.

Stipend Starting Salary Range: $3,138-$3,447, according to the Group Band of Schedule C of the Certified Master Contract 2025-2027.

Benefits: No benefit eligibilty, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.
