The successful candidate would be required to teach across the ability range to all secondary Key Stages. Ability to teach Music at GCSE level would be essential and the ability to teach at A-level would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be eager to help drive and contribute to our extensive extra-curricular programme, develop the musical tradition at BSB, as well as contributing to the choir and orchestras, be committed to our whole school community and promote Music and Performing Arts throughout all stages of the secondary school. This is an exciting time to join the Performing Arts Faculty at BSB with the acquisition of a dedicated Performing Arts centre.
BSB is committed to offering a broad and balanced curriculum based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales and students sit IGCSE and A levels. We are full international members of HMC and have BSO status via the Independent Schools Inspectorate. BSB is also an accredited member of COBIS and is one of only 21 COBIS Training Schools worldwide.
BSB has been established for over 25 years and, with over 700 students from over 65 countries, is set across a large stunning campus in a leafy suburb of beautiful Bucharest. Students benefit from well-appointed, equipped and resourced classrooms which enable them to flourish academically and personally across a broad curriculum.
