Company Introduction

WorldStrides is the global leader in educational travel and experiential learning. The company was founded in 1967 to provide middle school travel programs to Washington, D.C. and has grown to provide a wide range of programs for more than half a million students annually to over 100 countries around the world. WorldStrides offers experiential learning programs in educational travel, performing arts, language immersion, career exploration, service-learning, study abroad, and sports. Each of these experiences helps students to see beyond the classroom and to see the world – and themselves – in new ways.

Every call you make puts a student on a plane.

At WorldStrides, we take students places a classroom can’t: Washington, D.C., the national parks, science labs, historic battlefields and destinations around the world. For many of these kids it’s their first flight, their first time leaving their state, sometimes their first time seeing the ocean.

Teachers make those trips happen, but only if someone reaches them, earns their trust and shows them it’s possible. That someone is you.

What you’ll actually be doing

This is a high-volume outbound role, fully in English. Your day is spent on the phone and in the inbox, reaching teachers and school administrators across the U.S. who’ve never heard of us. You’ll open conversations from a cold start and qualify which ones are serious about organizing a student trip. The strongest opportunities go to our Sales team to close, so your pipeline is what feeds theirs.

What this role is not

  • Inbound or customer service. Nobody is calling you; you make the first move.
  • Account management. You open doors, you don’t maintain them.
  • A senior position. This is a hunter seat with a clear path into closing roles at WorldStrides.

Your day-to-day

  • Call teachers nationwide using our talk tracks, and leave messages when you can’t reach them live.
  • Send follow-up emails to keep conversations moving.
  • Research schools to identify top prospects, and keep our CRM database up to date.
  • Join special outreach projects, such as competitive campaigns and calls to unassigned and specialty schools.
  • Put together flyers and update presentations using our templates.

What we’re looking for

  • Advanced English (85%+), since you’ll speak with U.S. teachers all day.
  • 6+ months of experience in sales, lead generation or lead qualification. Phone sales experience is a plus.
  • Comfort working in a CRM and with strong data entry habits.
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing principles.
  • A proactive, organized way of working.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Work perks

  • 10% of gross salary in grocery vouchers (vales de despensa)
  • 25 PTO days to start, growing to 28 over 3 years, plus 4 mental health days, 5 bereavement days and 1 paid volunteer day
  • Statutory holidays under Mexican Federal Labor Law
  • Medical, dental and vision coverage, plus life, AD&D, accident, critical illness and disability insurance
  • Tuition reimbursement of up to $5,250 USD a year, or $1,000 USD a year toward professional certifications
  • Flexible schedule with on-site and hybrid options
  • Paid statutory parental leave
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Fitness opportunities
  • Employee Resource Groups and a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion council
  • A fun, driven team

WorldStrides, a global organization, is committed to educate and serve communities worldwide. Our commitment is fueled by the passion of our team members and partners to make experiential learning accessible, while also being socially, environmentally, and ethically responsible. Together, we accomplish this by investing in initiatives to promote inclusion, diversity, and sustainability.

As an Equal Opportunity Employer, WorldStrides is committed to building a diverse workforce, supported by an environment that promotes inclusion and belonging. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.

WorldStrides will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States. This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided. Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1, J-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J or TN, or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire. Select seasonal roles may consider students on J-1 or F-1 visas.

Location not supplied Location Report

By SBO+ Staff · Effective 2026-09-08

View this location on OpenStreetMap →

Opportunity and Market

The source listing does not supply a usable worksite location. Global indicators provide scale only and do not substitute for the candidate’s local labor market. [1]

Career Outlook

The world unemployment observation cannot establish occupation demand or job security in the worker’s jurisdiction, so opportunity and safety scores are omitted. [3] [4]

Compensation

World GDP per capita is not a salary-equivalency measure. Confirm pay currency, permitted residence, payroll entity, benefits and exchange-rate treatment directly with the employer. [2]

Housing and Cost of Living

Housing costs depend on the candidate’s approved work location; no global rent or affordability score is asserted.

Commute

Commute cannot be assessed until the employer confirms the worksite or permitted work jurisdiction.

Community Snapshot

No neighborhood or community claim is made because the listing does not identify one worksite market.

Local Economy

Global population, output and unemployment observations are context only; the candidate’s actual jurisdiction controls the relevant labor environment. [1] [2] [3]

Relocation Considerations

Confirm where the employer permits the worker to reside, which entity employs them, work authorization, tax residence, healthcare, equipment and required travel before moving.

What I Wish I'd Known Before Taking the Job

A missing location can conceal payroll, visa, commute and relocation constraints. Get the work jurisdiction in writing before treating the opening as viable. [4]

Methodology

This non-geographic report uses World Bank global indicators and ILO labor-market guidance only to establish broad context. It withholds local scores because no single work jurisdiction was verified.
