On August 24, 2026, Mahidol University’s College of Music and SpicyDisc Co., Ltd. formalized a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement, named SpicyDisc x Mahidol YAMP – Vol. 1, was signed by SpicyDisc Authorized Director Patch Chirathivat and Mahidol Dean Dr. Piyawat Louilarpprasert. This collaboration merges academic instruction with real-world professional standards, allowing students to participate in actual music production and recording sessions.
A Pop Orchestra project will be produced specifically for digital distribution. By working together, the initiative helps learners build professional credentials while preparing them for future careers in music. The partnership also establishes a foundation for future projects, including potential Vol. 2 and Vol. 3 initiatives. Ultimately, this agreement provides a continuous platform for emerging artists to develop skills and enter the professional sector with confidence.
