Manhasset Stands recently announced its acquisition of Noteworthy Music Stands of Portland, Oregon.
Noteworthy Music Stands is a manufacturer of decorative music stands and are known for creating “Elegant Images for the Artist.”
“The acquisition of the assets of Noteworthy Music Stands by Manhasset Stands is a great fit for the company. Manhasset will add the Noteworthy Music Stand line to its assortment of music stands that are currently manufactured and marketed by the company,” according to Dan Roberts, president and general manager. Bob Meyer, President of Noteworthy Music Stands adds, “We are very excited about the potential growth of our Noteworthy Music Stand designs as a result of their acquisition by Manhasset. From its beginning, Noteworthy Music Stands has been an integral part of my wife Sherrey’s and my life. We have enjoyed meeting many people in the music industry and in the last few years when we had the very special opportunity to create music stands that were for use by the President’s United States Marine Band! And we are especially delighted that Manhasset will continue to manufacture our music stand designs in the USA, maintaining the standard of excellence inherent in all of the music stand products that we have made over the years.”
Details of the acquisition are not being disclosed per the agreement with both parties. Manhasset Stands plans to debut the Noteworthy line of music stands at its NAMM Show booth in January 2017.
