“Memory” by Chen Yi Arranged for Flute

Theodore Presser Company has published the Chen Yi Memory, as arranged for solo flute by, Mary Holzhausen (114-41787 – Score – $6.99).

Originally written for solo violin, the instrument in which the composer was trained as a performer, “Memory” is Dr. Chen’s strong emotional reaction to the loss of a beloved teacher. Working closely with the composer, arranger Holzhausen, has now adapted the work for the flute.
