Music for All has appointed Kelsey Synnett as its new Director of Student Programs, the organization announced. Synnett is scheduled to begin her tenure on August 3, according to a news release from Music for All.
In this role, Synnett will lead the nonprofit’s camp initiatives, which include the Music for All Summer Camp, the source stated. She will also guide the development of new camp experiences and oversee national honor ensembles, Music for All reported.
Synnett holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of South Florida and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Saint Leo University, per the announcement. Her previous professional experience in the Tampa Bay area includes serving as a band director, student enrichment advisor, parent involvement coordinator, assessment coordinator and assistant principal, Music for All noted.
The organization described Synnett as a leader in music and education communities who brings a commitment to student success and a passion for creating meaningful learning experiences, the source said.
