Sixty-five high school and middle school ensembles representing 16 states have received invitations to perform at the 2027 Music for All National Festival. According to Music for All, the selected groups will gather in Indianapolis from April 1-3, 2027, for the event presented by Yamaha and Sweetwater. The organization noted that these ensembles were chosen following a rigorous application and audition process.
Music for All describes the gathering as the nation’s premier non-competitive festival for scholastic instrumental music. The source states that participating groups, which include concert bands, orchestras, percussion ensembles, and chamber ensembles, will perform at top venues and receive feedback from a panel of renowned conductors and clinicians. Attendees will also engage in educational workshops, the organization reported.
The festival features individual student experiences with the Honor Band of America and Jazz Band of America. Music for All indicated that outstanding high school instrumentalists may apply for these national honor ensembles online until November 1. The announced participants include groups such as the Clovis North Educational Center Wind Ensemble from California and the Veterans Memorial Early College High School Wind Ensemble from Texas, among others from states including Nevada, Illinois, Georgia, Massachusetts, and Florida.
