Music Mark announced that the 2026 Music Mark Awards are now accepting nominations, aiming to honour individuals and groups that advance inclusive, accessible and high‑quality music education across the United Kingdom. The organization highlighted the programme’s growing reputation after several successful years, noting its role in celebrating those who make a difference in the sector.
The 2026 ceremony will feature three distinct categories. The This Is Not A Rehearsal Sustainability Award, backed by Melded, seeks to recognise members who address the climate emergency through music‑focused initiatives, emphasizing artistic response, creative leadership and environmentally‑aware practice. The Talk into Action Inclusion Award, supported by SLS 360, rewards forward‑thinking projects that broaden participation and ensure diverse communities are genuinely represented in music‑making. Finally, the Youth Initiative of the Year, sponsored by ABRSM, will showcase youth‑led programmes that are driving progress in music education.
Organisers are calling on schools, charities and individual practitioners to submit entries that demonstrate impact and innovation within these themes. Nominations are being taken through the Music Mark website, with the aim of highlighting exemplary work that inspires change throughout the sector.
