Music Mark has organized a Special Interest Group gathering for educators working in higher and further education music programs, providing a confidential space to discuss sector challenges and exchange insights among colleagues.
Music Mark reported that the session is designed for participants with similar professional interests to share best practices, address barriers, and support departmental excellence through peer collaboration. The organization described the forum as a facilitated, safe environment where educators can confidentially raise issues specific to their work across further and higher education settings.
According to Music Mark, attendees who face barriers to participation are encouraged to submit a support request form. The organization also noted that participants may use AI note-taking tools in Zoom meetings for accessibility, provided they notify Music Mark in advance so legitimate aids can be distinguished from other applications.
Music Mark, a membership organization and Arts Council England Investment Principles Support Organisation, said it advocates for excellent musical learning in and out of school. The group also invited the music education community to share information about training sessions and events for listing on its website.
