NAMM Kicks Off With Anaheim Day of Service

The 2017 NAMM Show kicked off with the Anaheim Day of Service at Patrick Henry Elementary School on Tuesday, January 17. 

The 2017 day of service began with a meet-and-greet over continental breakfast at the school, followed by an experience designed to inspire students, teachers, and NAMM members alike. 

Volunteers unpacked and tuned instruments; interacted and assisted children during facilitator-led sessions in classroom settings; and packed up instruments when the sessions were complete. The NAMM Foundation matched up to $10,000 in donations to help the school sustain its music program; gifts were encouraged to support the reinstatement of music education in Anaheim.
