The North Carolina Music Educators Association’s Research Committee has opened its call for both research posters and lightning‑talk presentations to be featured at the upcoming conference. Eligible work may be finished studies or projects still in development, provided they focus on music teaching and learning.
Selected participants will have the option to design a conventional poster or employ an alternative visual format that clearly conveys their findings. All visual displays will be exhibited during a dedicated hour where every conference attendee can view them, and presenters are expected to discuss their work with visitors. The hour‑long slot is built into the conference agenda to maximize exposure and dialogue among educators.
The committee will forward detailed guidelines and technical specifications to those whose submissions are accepted. Researchers are encouraged to submit now, as the session aims to showcase innovative approaches to music education. All accepted works will receive a copy of the poster guidelines, covering size, layout, and submission deadlines.
