KMC Music announced that it is now shipping the new line of Paiste Formula 602, Giant Beat, and 2002 Sound Edge cymbals.

The Formula 602 Modern Essentials gains a 22 inch Crash and a 24 inch Ride. Modern Essentials cymbals were developed in collaboration with Vinnie Colaiuta and based on the Formula 602.

The 2002 Sound Edge Hi-Hat is now available as a 17 inch. Its wavy bottom design is a once patented Paiste innovation from the 1970s. The new 17 inch version is designed to add boost, low end and projection without sacrificing musicality.

The Giant Beat is a 26 inch cymbal. It is designed to embody a clear and powerful stick sound, and features a pearly wooden ping, a deep whooshing wash, a swelling crash and a strong and articulate bell. Giant Beat cymbals were originally developed in 1967.

Formula 602, Giant Beat and 2002 cymbals are made by hand in Switzerland using traditional methods that have remained unchanged in over half a century.
