In a special 175th anniversary Insights at the Atrium event, New York Philharmonic musicians past and present will offer an insider’s look at the Philharmonic during their tenures, recalling everything from milestone events to enduring traditions.
The event is free and open to the public and will take place at the David Rubenstein Atrium, Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. The panel discussion will be moderated by Philharmonic Archivist / Historian Barbara Haws and feature Associate Principal Oboe Sherry Sylar, trombonist David Finlayson, retired violinist Hanna Lachert, and retired contrabassoonist and unofficial Orchestra photographer Bert Bial. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
