To mark the start of this anniversary season, we cordially invite you to our Media Day on Tuesday, 1 September, where we look back on the concert hall’s extraordinary success story and look ahead to its future: with a panel discussion, exclusive interview opportunities and the season’s opening concert featuring Alexandre Kantorow and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Manfred Honeck. Pierre de Meuron, Architect, Founding Partner Herzog & de Meuron. Dr. Carsten Brosda, Hamburg’s Senator for Culture and Media and other guests. Together, they will discuss how, over the past ten years, the Elbphilharmonie has evolved into a cultural beacon for Germany on the world stage through its spectacular architecture and an artistic programme unrivalled in both quality and diversity. The newly published book »Elbphilharmonie Live«, to be released on 2 September, receives its first public presentation during the Media Day. From 15:30 onwards | Exclusive interview opportunities Following the panel discussion, all panellists are available for individual interviews. We would be pleased to arrange individual interviews tailored to your areas of interest. Food and refreshments are available for accredited media representatives before and after the panel discussion. Workspaces are also provided should you wish to prepare your editorial coverage ahead of the season’s opening concert.
