Following widespread success throughout Europe, Odisei Music has announced plans to expand its North American retail distribution for Travel Sax 2, the world’s smallest and lightest electronic sax.

Originally launched as a Kickstarter project in 2019, Travel Sax 2 helps saxophone players improve their playing skills quickly and effortlessly.

Due to its diminutive size, Travel Sax 2 can easily be carried in a backpack or small suitcase. It is an invaluable tool for saxophone players to practice their licks wherever and whenever desired.

Travel Sax 2, introduced in 2023, is a high-quality, injection-molded instrument featuring real moving keys and stainless-steel springs, which provide resistance and key return the user would experience when playing an actual saxophone. It has 50 internal sounds, a USB-C connection for MIDI out and battery charging, an internal reference speaker and a mini jack that enables players to practice silently with headphones. Users can connect a phone or tablet via Bluetooth to play backing tracks for practice.

Additional improvements offered with Travel Sax 2 include airflow adjustment, key color customization, and easy key replacement.

The new mobile app allows users to select sounds, configure effects and customize fingerings. This enables the personalization of each fingering position to the desired notes, which is helpful for the altissimo range.

Odisei Music has already sold thousands of units throughout Europe and has received a 4.9-star review on Google. Travel Sax 2 has also secured enthusiastic reviews from the media, such as from Fred Vigdor of Sax School and Jay Metcalf of Better Sax.

“Given Odisei’s great success in Europe, we are now building strong relationships with North American retail partners looking to stock innovative new products that provide high sales potential and are easy to sell,” said Ramon Mañas Corbinos, CEO of Odisei Music.
