A primary school’s choir will perform at a Christmas craft market on Saturday, November 15, as part of a fundraising effort to replace outdated student laptops.
SussexWorld reported that the PTA at Gardens Community Primary School is hosting the event at the school from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with free entry for all attendees.
The festive morning will feature local makers and artisan stalls, children’s Christmas craft activities, a Santa’s Grotto, and performances from the school choir, according to the report.
Kelly-Anne Jordan, from the Georgian Gardens PTA, said the organization is fundraising to help the school replace laptops that can no longer run the programs students rely on for learning. She said updating the equipment is essential for supporting children’s digital education and that the replacement cost is significant.
The event will also include tea, coffee, cakes, festive treats and a raffle, with all proceeds supporting the school, SussexWorld reported.
