The Shanghai Conservatory of Music held a meeting on the afternoon of October 9th to advance its industry-academia collaborative education teams, according to an official announcement. The meeting focused on the progress of these teams and outlined future directions for their development.
Party Secretary Pei Xiaoqian offered four key requirements related to the teams’ operations, while Dean Liao Changyong acknowledged the initial achievements of each group. The event, chaired by Vice Dean Chen Yun, was convened at the Fenyang Road campus.
Attendees included school leadership, heads of all industry-academia collaborative education teams, representatives from relevant departments, and party organization secretaries from various academic divisions. The institution initiated a comprehensive effort to build these teams earlier this year.
Team leaders presented updates on their progress, and representatives from the Development Planning Office and the Human Resources Office shared their experiences. Following a period of concentrated effort, the conservatory reports that the initial phase of construction for the ten teams is progressing well.
