Shanghai Conservatory releases third student online culture initiative

Shanghai Conservatory of Music initiated its third student online culture works collection and selection activity on September 23, according to an announcement from the school. The launch ceremony occurred at the “one-stop” student community activity center on Lingling Road campus.

The event, presided over by Ouyang Jiaqin, head of the Party Working Department for Student and Research Work, included Vice President and School Party Committee Deputy Secretary, Tang Junjie, who read out the list of winners from the eighth National University Student Online Culture Festival competition and presented certificates. The recognition highlights the institution’s commitment to online ideological education and the strength of its students’ creative capabilities.

Several award-winning works were showcased, including “群星永不灭” (Stars Never Die) by Zhang Chuwenz from the Conducting Department, and “兹莫领扎” (Zimo Lingzha) from Chen Yixiao of the Digital Media Art Academy. A team from the Digital Media Art Academy also shared their work, “克拉玛依” (Karamay).

The initiative, utilizing the Yiban platform, aims to encourage students to produce positive online content and promote a healthy campus online environment. Ren Xiaoxuanzi, the Yiban workstation manager, read a pledge for online safety and civility.
