This month, my editorial is this sparse set of photos of a trumpet made of the shell casings of the kind of bullets used in an AK47, as fired in the massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

A group representing those students forged this “Instrument of Hope” from bullet casings. After seeing this and letting all of the implications sear into my very soul, I want to share this with you, and ask you to think about all that it means. We will run a feature on this organization next month.
