Sutton Music Trust seeks tutors for out-of-hours music academy

Sutton Music Trust is recruiting experienced music tutors for its out-of-hours Music Academy, seeking specialists in violin, woodwind including saxophone and clarinet, and vocals, according to a job listing reported by Music Mark. The trust aims to help every young person in the London Borough of Sutton make, be inspired by, and celebrate the music they love.

Music Mark reported that the tutoring positions involve weekly sessions at two locations. Wednesday sessions run from 5:25 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Cheam Park Farm Primary Academy, while Saturday sessions take place from 9:50 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. at Cantium House in Wallington. Additional Thursday sessions are scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Cantium House, and Saturday sessions from 9 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. at Cheam Park Farm Primary Academy.

The trust said it is committed to making a difference to the lives of young people through music. The listing invites tutors passionate about music education who want to help young musicians progress.
