TAMA Releases New S.L.P. Mod Bubinga Snare Drum

New For 2025, TAMA has announced the release of its new S.L.P. Mod Bubinga snare drum. This 12″ x 7″ drum features a 6mm-thick, 9-ply Bubinga shell, delivering a sharp attack and focused tone that cuts through any mix, whether in the studio or on stage. The Bubinga shell is paired with 6-hole, triple-flange sound arch hoops (2.3mm batter side, 1.6mm snare side) and a 20-strand Starclassic Carbon Steel snare wire. An Evans G1 coated batter head completes the drum’s setup.

The S.L.P. Mod Bubinga snare drum will be available in a standard natural finish, as well as two limited-edition Artist Models: Clay Aeschliman’s Galactic Purple and Philo Tsoungui’s Electro Turquoise.

All three models will be available in January 2025.
