The New School College of Performing Arts will present Symphony No. 2 Winter, from Four Symphonies by noted composer and trumpeter Wadada Leo Smith on May 3 from 11 am to 11:30 am EDT. To register for the livestream, go to https://event.newschool.edu/MMPCMay3.

Directed by Wadada Leo Smith and produced by Yiseul Kim LeMieux, the livestream will also feature the MM Performer-Composer Ensemble: Ezra Gans, Yiseul Kim LeMieux, Magnus Breivik Løvseth, Shara Lunon, Julián Muro and Marisa Tornello. (Special Thanks: Masson LeMieux).

The inaugural MM Performer-Composer class will perform Wadada Leo Smith’s Symphony No. 2 Winter in a live streamed, multi-location presentation. The performance is part of the Performer-Composer Stone Lab, a workshop led by artists-in-residence at The Stone, “a not-for-profit performance initiative dedicated to the experimental and avant-garde.”
