Wenger Corporation has launched its Triple Threats campaign, including a $10,000 scholarship for a U.S. high school senior who participates in music, theater and athletics.
The scholarship will recognize one member of the Class of 2027 for commitment, leadership, personal growth and the ability to build on lessons learned across all three disciplines. Applications are open and must be submitted by Feb. 28, 2027.
The campaign celebrates students who stay engaged in music, theater and athletics throughout their school experience, at a time when many feel pressure to prioritize one passion over others.
“Many successful students refuse to be defined by a single activity,” said Dave Thomas, president and CEO of Wenger Corporation. “They are musicians, actors, athletes, leaders and teammates. Through Triple Threats, we’re celebrating students who challenge themselves across three disciplines and recognizing the unique strengths they gain from these varied experiences.”
Wenger created Triple Threats as it celebrates its 80th anniversary. The initiative reflects the company’s evolution from its roots in music education to serving performing arts and athletics.
According to Wenger, students involved in these activities develop leadership, teamwork, creativity, discipline and resilience through experiences on and off the stage, field and practice room, building skills that extend beyond graduation.
Unlike scholarships focused on a single discipline, the Triple Threats Scholarship recognizes students whose experiences span music, theater and athletics. Applicants will share their stories and future plans through written responses, recommendations and a short video.
Eligible U.S. high school seniors graduating in 2027 can find complete eligibility requirements, application information and official rules on Wenger’s Triple Threats webpage.
Wenger is also inviting families, educators, coaches and community members to nominate and celebrate students whose participation in music, theater and athletics has made an impact in their schools and communities.
Photos and stories of students in grades 6-12 may be submitted throughout the campaign. Selected students will be highlighted through Wenger’s storytelling and social media channels.
Wenger’s portfolio includes Wenger, J.R. Clancy, GearBoss, Creative Conners, Lutefish and Texas Scenic Company. The company provides solutions for music education, performing arts venues, athletic facilities, sports and entertainment venues, and musicians.
