Chris Scialfa, previously Director of Sales for North America, has been promoted to Vice President of Band & Orchestra. In his new role, Chris will be responsible for all aspects of the Product Group, including product management, product development, finance, and operations. Chris will also create a sales and marketing vision to grow global market share for all Woodwinds and Orchestral brands.

Chris began his tenure with D’Addario as the Woodwinds Product Manager, where he helped to rebrand Rico Reeds to D’Addario Woodwinds and launch Reserve, the first woodwind product under the D’Addario Woodwinds brand. His experience, coupled with his leadership, energy, and creativity, is sure to benefit the B&O brand.

Lance Day, former Territory Sales Manager, has been promoted to Educational Market Development Manager within the Band & Orchestral (B&O) Product Group, where he’ll be leading D’Addario’s Education Outreach clinics and growing market share for the D’Addario Woodwinds, Orchestral, and Percussion brands. Lance was also recently appointed to the NAMM Board of Directors.

Joining D’Addario in 2018, Lance began as an Inside Sales Rep and was soon promoted to Territory Sales Manager, managing B&O accounts in the Western U.S. region. Lance’s personal and professional experience are a recipe for success in his new position.

“Both Chris and Lance have proven to be strong leaders and we are excited to see their passion and experience expand to the Band & Orchestral Product Group,” says CEO & President, John D’Addario 3.
