J.W. Pepper & Son, Inc. announced the acquisition of RBC Music Company, Inc., a full-service sheet music distributor. RBC Music has its own publishing division and serves band, orchestra, choir and classroom teachers. RBC Music will become a part of Pepper’s large network of stores, dedicated to serving customers across the United States.
Under manager Don Bierschenk, RBC Music Company will continue to serve customers from their store in San Antonio, TX. Additionally, RBC Music Company will have the availability of the Pepper Distribution Centers to assist in fulfilling orders that are not available onsite in the San Antonio store.
According to Glenn Burtch, President and CEO of J.W. Pepper, “We admire RBC’s commitment to customer service and feel it’s a terrific match for our company.” Further, “Texas is an important state for music education and we feel having two locations positions us to better serve music programs throughout the state.”
J.W. Pepper will be serving Texas customers from two locations, RBC – Pepper South Texas in San Antonio and Pepper North Texas in Richland Hills. Customers will receive even more support from the combined talent and dedication of J.W. Pepper and RBC Music staff located in both South Texas and North Texas. As both companies are corporate members of TCDA, TODA, TBA and TMEA, dedicated to helping music educators do their job and devoted to supporting school music programs throughout the state of Texas and beyond, this is a great fit.
